It’s without question that a photograph gives us the ability to hold onto our most cherished memories. The vivid images captured in a single picture can ultimately reveal what is held most dear to one’s entire being. Usually an amazing photographic moment presents itself only when a camera is not within reach and then by the time a camera gets into hand, the moment is lost and another memory is potentially forgotten. Don’t allow for this to happen when it comes to taking pictures of your canine companion. Dog ownership is an incredible experience that can change a person forever. It’s a powerful thing.

High Desert Dog Magazine is please to present a brief insight into a few of the rescue organizations located in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. The New Mexico rescue community is composed of a closely knit group of people who not only have the common mission of helping homeless, stray, neglected, abused, and unwanted dogs, but they pride themselves on working together and being there to support each other with the many aspects that go into rescue.
